I have made chocolates for family and friends for almost 20 years. After being told that I should “sell these chocolates” I decided to give it a try. We started our chocolate business in 2012 under the name of Big Foot Chocolate Co. In 2014 we changed our name to “Sasquatch Chocolate Co.” I wanted a name with a northwest theme and something I could have fun with, and that’s how “Sasquatch Chocolate Co” came into being.
I love to bake and making candy with chocolate is a dream come true. I get really excited when I come up with a new idea or a new recipe, so does my family since they are my tasters!!
I use quality chocolates, a wonderful caramel that is soft and chewy, and other flavors that are combined to help you day-dream about the fun times as a kid. Our chocolates are Fair Trade and Rainforest Alliance Certified. The caramel and chocolates are gluten free. All of our candies are handcrafted and packaged in a Washington State Department of Agriculture approved kitchen in Renton, WA.
